Automobile Insurance Motor Vehicle Inspection Report
The Automobile Insurance Motor Vehicle Inspection Report is required in Alberta for vehicles that are 12 years or older. It must be completed by a licensed mechanic in the province of Alberta. The inspection report helps to determine whether a particular vehicle is roadworthy and safe.
The main parts of the vehicle that it checks include steering, tires, brakes, electrical system, and the general condition of the automobile. The mechanic is also asked if the vehicle has been altered or modified to increase the speed or performance. The final result is to determine whether the mechanic feels the automobile is roadworthy or not.
