Features

Winter Reactive Technology, or WRT, can enhance your winter driving. Drivers are better in reaction when starting and stopping on ice and snowy roads, and have much better traction when turning.  These studless ice and snow tires can be used for coupes, minivans, crossover vehicles, and sedans.  They have been molded with the Goodyear Winter Grip compound to create a direction tread design.  This sweeping groove design pushes water and slush away from the footprint of the tire in order to handle better in cold and wet conditions.

These Goodyear tires meet the strict requirements that are needed for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

These tires offer little noise while on the road with zero squishiness.  And as they are studless, they will guarantee that your winter ride will be manageable.  These tires will hold up extremely well where roads are plowed and kept clear.

Terrain

These tires are perfect for any terrain.  From snow to ice, wet to dry pavements, the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT can handle it all!

Overall, most people that have used the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT tires feel they are great.  They are amazed at how well they handle, as well as how comfortable a ride is with them.  Both wet and winter traction are excellent for those that have used these winter tires.   Most individuals were extremely pleased with how well the tires hold up.

Conclusion

Those who drive daily in the snow and ice will find these tires to be of high-quality.  They are priced right for those that do not want to spend an arm and a leg on tires either.

Goodyear is working on updating their line of winter tires.  The Ultra Grip Ice 2 WRT has been released in Europe with plans to hopefully release it in the United States sometime soon!
