Performance Review
Treadwear
The tread pattern on the MT51 is more of a standard pattern which allows a stable, yet comfortable drive. With the tread pattern, you will notice a drive with much less noise. The lifespan of the tire is increased overall with this design. The siping on this tire is decent, but one should not completely rely on it. With an aggressive wide block design, the Kumho Road Venture MT51 will offer the ability for the tire to really dig into the rocks and mud. We genuinely appreciate the tire’s sidewall, as it is reinforced very well. This will prevent any cuts while providing great traction for mud and loose dirt.
Dry Performance
Dry pavement and the Kumho Road Venture MT51 go hand in hand! These tires perform seamlessly on dry roads and terrains. We have heard of many customers that are satisfied with dry terrain and the MT51.
Wet Performance
Wet terrain will find that it is no problem for the MT51. Muddy terrain fares its best with these tires as the internal structure will adapt quite nicely. Either slightly rainy days or hard and heavy rain, these tires will drive seamlessly on the pavement.
Snow Performance
The Kumho Road Venture MT51 will perform just as well on snow as it does wet or dry pavement. It is very efficient on snowy roads. One driver stated he has driven on 8 inches of fresh snow with MT51 tires.
Comfort
All drivers want comfort when they are on the road. Especially if they will be enduring long drives or harsh conditions. The Kumho Road Venture MT51 provides just that. It has a natural rubber that is padded with coy nylon to offer extreme comfort and luxury while driving. One customer stated that the grip level on these tires was good with nice handling while another one noted that they perform well in a variety of conditions from dirt and mud to rocky terrain. Noise levels are regulated on the MT51 and are super low.

Positive Reviews
"I live in Montana, on the contanial divide. We still have snow and ice. I just got these tires, I put them through the ringer, hauling wood and pulling friends out of snow banks. Normally I have to drop tire psi but not with tires, they just grabbed and off we go. I reccomend these tires for off road and snow, great cleaning and grip."

"These tires are the best I have ever owned. I put them on a 1993 jeep Cherokee sport 4X4 for my rural mail route. All dirt roads in rural Montana. I drive 1500 miles a week on dirt roads and when these roads get muddy, they get muddy. mud, snow whatever they go through it. Plus it comes in 8ply in 15inch size which is the only model I could find in an 8ply. Had no flats for 60,000 miles which is rare on gravel roads and these tires were still going. I just recently replaced the two rear tires because the were wore, still had about 5,000 miles left on them but I chose to replace them. I hope they continue to make them! 60,000 miles on a tire on gravel roads is on heard of out here. I can't imagine what kind of mileage you would get on all highway driving. I work in a tire shop so I know. I don't notice any road noise on the highway, they have pretty aggressive lugs but they run smooth."

Negative Reviews
"Not a bad tire by any means. I haul trailers around on dirt and through mud and down gravel roads and often on the pavement. Sometimes when the truck is empty they are a little easy to break loose on wet pavement but other wise nothing horrible. I've never gotten stuck with them and I've even pulled people out of the ditch with these."
