Sailun Tires Review & Buying Guide

When it comes to producing the cheapest tire models, Sailun Atrezzo tire brand comes first. They have dominated the entire North American states in this aspect; this is because many car users are satisfied with budget-friendly tires that give an average performance and standard treading prospect on several road surfaces.

Sailun has focused on producing tires at a great price point to attract customers who want pocket-friendly tires with reliable treads. Vehicles like SUVs, trucks, cross, light trucks, mid-sized trucks, and passenger cars are what Sailun tires are made for. The brand has grown to become a famous household name since they broke into American markets.

They have a versatile and vast range of designs and models in their lineup. Each tire caters to several customer demands and needs, and you are likely to find one that will be what you need.

Sailun Tires is all about giving its customers the most affordable but reliable tire models. They might not offer the best of performance with most of their models, but they are an excellent choice for people that need standard tires that will not cost much.

An outstanding balance of performance, value, and support

Sailun tires might come as the cheapest you will find around. However, the treads in the Sailun tires offer as much reliability as the more expensive brands. They also provide reliable all-around performance. They have an excellent treading potential that will hold their own on all types of terrains – this is a good feat despite performance not being the company’s primary focus.

Every Sailun tire is of excellent quality; they have tire like the SH406 that outperforms many of its competitors in almost all weather conditions.

The SH406 has a compound all-season design that makes it perfect for vehicle owners that live in regions with several weather changes every year.

Value-based tire models

Sailun tires are manufactured by a prominent Chinese brand that focuses on making tires that are the cheapest in the market. They have gathered a lot of experience making tires and decided to move to the American market recently.

Sailun Tire was established in 2002, and they produced tire building equipment for major corporations. They started to manufacture their tires after coming together with Jinyu tires.

The low price point of these chinese tires has made them popular among light-truck owners and passenger cars. Sailun started from China and has expanded their reach worldwide majorly due to the price according to people.

They are also the owners of Ravelo Tires and Black Lion, and they have become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to tires for car owners.

Has the PTPA Seal

The PTPA seal is not something you get to find in the tire manufacturing industry. This award is rare and only given to a few tire models and series passed through rigorous testing and evaluations.

Sailun’s Ice Blazer winter site and the Atrezzo all-season have received the PTPA Medial Seal of Approval for outstanding quality.

This award is one of the most recognized and publicized award seals that exist in North America. The team that runs these tests comprises the biggest volunteer testing community.

These volunteers check for tire quality and are safe enough for the community and their children.

With Sailun tire having this seal, it shows their exceptional quality.

Performance Ratings

The Sailun Atrezzo SVA1 offers drivers an excellent treading experience on all terrains, both wet and dry. Well, the series has a unique compound that improves traction on wet slippery surfaces and light snow patches.

The grooves have an independent design that allows the tire models to expunge water through the treads, reducing hydroplaning risk and improving vehicle performance and stability.

The Atrezzo SVA1 has excellent noise reduction abilities. The tire absorbs vibration of the road at the foundation, so the person driving rarely feels any form of vibration – this results in a smooth ride even if you are going on rough and bumpy terrain.

Performance Ratings

The Sailun S637 is a trailer tire built to fit all terrains, as it has amazingly diverse treads. The Sailun S637 has extra-wide ribs that increase stability and improve vehicle traction while travelling at high speeds.

The Sailun S637 has a wide tread shoulder that enhances its tread life. It does this as it helps the tires repel damage that is caused via high-scrub applications. Through its grooves, the Sailun S637 reduces hydroplaning to the lowest. It helps to remove water from the tires, and it also makes sure there is an even wear through its combination with the mirrored tread design – this leads to an increase in mileage and how long it lasts.

All Sailun S637 sizes have an all-steel construction that keeps the tire rigid and firm even when hit with high physical impact; this results in a tremendous off-road ability for the tires. It makes them suitable for camping and extended hiking trips.

Positive Sailun Tire Reviews

[Sailun SVA 1]

Yes, they get five stars. Are they as good as the Michelin's they replaced? Not quite, but they cost about half as much. I have a 325 horsepower all-wheel-drive Volvo, and I push it hard on lousy curvy mountain roads. I read the few reviews I could find and some blind test results that gave me the confidence to try these. They grip well, are reasonably quiet and comfortable--and cheap. I have been running ultra-high performance all-season tires for years on three different cars (535 BMW, Acura TL and the Volvo S60). All of them got pushed hard on rough mountain roads. I used to burn up two sets of tires a year due to a 100 mile a day crazy mountain commute. I have tried: Continental DWS's, Kumho Ecsta's, General GMax's, Bridgestone Turanza's and Michelin Pilot Sport AS-3's. I have bought the Michelins twice because they are the best tire I've used--but I haven't wanted to! They are good, not great and EXPENSIVE. Unless something happens between now and when I need to repurchase tires, I will HAPPILY be repurchasing these. They probably aren't quite as good as the Michelins, but I would say they are better than the Continentals, Kumhos, Bridgestones and the Generals. One other metric worth noting is that they took very little weight to balance. If you have a tire you love--why are you even reading this? If you don't--try these!

I was disappointed that three out of five tires have date codes that are over ten months old. The other two had date codes that were just two months old.
